Chris Gavin
Chris Gavin's songs have stronger stories and characters than most novels or films.

On his debut album All Winter We Have Waited we get to travel the world and meet everyone from John Wayne to Primo Levi. We star in a French film and meet a god in Budapest. And we observe moving scenes between families and friends, and also follow stories which are reminiscent of J.D. Salinger, and Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird'.

The music is a mix of Irish folk, indie and classical. It has been likened to Leonard Cohen, Planxty, The Smiths, Simon and Garfunkel, Arvo Part, The Go-Betweens, R.E.M., Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Billy Bragg, Louden Wainwright, The Pogues, Nick Cave, Jonathan Richman, Lou Reed, Ron Sexsmith, and Johnny Cash.
